Snowbowl

Located just a 30-minute drive from town, Snowbowl Ski Area is a local favorite for its steep terrain (including a vertical of 2,600 feet), 5 lifts, 37 runs, and unbeatable pizza. With over 900 acres to ride, you can spend all day exploring without feeling like you’ve taken the same route twice. The ‘Bowl’ is open seven days a week –whether you’re looking for an all-day adventure or just a half-day jaunt – they’ve got you covered.

Lost Trail is nestled on the Montana-Idaho border, around 90 miles south of Missoula. LT as the locals call it, is known for consistently good snow, terrain that caters to all skill levels. LT is calling your name - serving up a family friendly vibe every (Powder) Thursday – Sunday.

Discovery Ski Area

Discovery Ski Area or “Disco” is just a quick 90 minute drive east of Missoula. With a plethora of beginner options to highly technical runs – Disco has something for everyone. With 70 runs on four different faces of the mountain and eight lifts to get you where you’re going – Disco is 2,200 acres of powdery fun.

Blacktail Mountain Ski Area is located just over two hours north of Missoula in Lakeside, overlooking Flathead Lake. Blacktail boasts over 1,000 acres and 250” of snow annually - it is well worth the drive! The resort offers unparalleled views of Flathead Lake, unbeatable rates and the unique location of the lodge - at the top of the mountain! “At Blacktail, step out of your car and get a top to bottom run in before riding a chair!”.

Lookout Pass is located just 100 miles west of Missoula on the Montana-Idaho border. With 5 lifts and over 1,000 acres of skiable terrain -  the oldest ski area in Idaho does not disappoint! The 400 inches of powder annually makes Lookout a local favorite for skiers and boarders alike.
