Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone
National Park

Yellowstone National Park is the world's first National Park and is filled with unique geography, geothermal activity, and of course, lots of wildlife.

Yellowstone National Park is a little farther from Missoula than a typical day trip (about 260 miles from Missoula), but might be a good weekend or overnight trip. Yellowstone National Park presents great opportunities to see wildlife as it is home to bison, grizzly bears, wolves and other large species. Thousands of geysers surround historic lodges, mountains, rivers and canyons making Yellowstone one of the most spectacular places in America to experience the natural world.
